Other Christmas happenings....

Aleksa is the silliest baby I know- I am quite partial though. Here she is right after eating- when she is usually the happiest. Daddy had to take a video of her because she was being so silly.

Merry Christmas!

Christmas was very wonderful this year. Cam and I couldn't believe the change that we felt this year- having a baby has changed everything. As I was up that night feeding Aleksa I had a really beautiful thought. I realized that Mary was probably up that night with her baby too. Suddenly the night feedings that night were not such a burden.
Aleksa's first Christmas came and went like most of her other days- she slept and ate. She was awake to see what Santa left her. She played with her "tower of Pooh" but was too tired to do much else. Mom had to open for Aleksa and dad. It was a great day, we are so grateful to our families for everything they have done for us. Checking out her presents.

Santa Baby...

We are so blessed....

We blessed Aleksa on December 16th. She was blessed by her daddy in a dress that her grandma made. She had grandpas, great grandpa and uncles in the circle. We are so lucky to have such a great baby! She is certainly a very special little girl!

Dear Santa...

Aleksa went to go see Santa today. She was so good and Santa was very nice.

Aleksa's Cold Day

This morning Aleksa and I went for a walk. It has really cooled down here so I put her in her snowsuit. She was so tiny in her suit- it was hilarious. I couldn't keep from laughing she looked so funny and cute. Because I was laughing so hard she kept smiling and pulling faces too. Here are our funny pictures.

The First Thanksgiving....

Aleksa celebrated her first Thanksgiving. She watched the Macy's parade with mom and dad. She got dressed up for dinner and sat at the table with her bottle of milk- mom ate second shift. Then she played some games and finished the day off with a nap. We were very grateful that the Connors invited us over for dinner- they are a great family and we had a wonderful time. Watching the parade- don't worry it was only for a second.

Playing with her friend Sophie- it was both of their first Thanksgivings.
Sitting with daddy before dinner.
Here everyone is gathered around the pies- there were nine pies! Almost more pies than people.
