To Russia with Love....

Here are our pictures from our swim party at the Morgan's. Thank you Morgan's for letting us come over and swim in your brand new pool- it is fabulous!!!

Soggy little feet.

Well Cam has left for St. Petersburg. Bear with us- we will be using our blog to let Daddy know everything that we are doing. One day down and 28 to go... Here are some pictures of what we did yesterday Daddy. We went to church and Aleksa wore her Fourth of July dress. Then Brook and I made snickerdoodles, I accidentally added one pound of butter instead of one cup so we had to double the recipe. Needless to say we have a lot of snickerdoodles. Cade worked on saying Hello when you answer the phone with Aleksa. This morning Aleksa had her play phone and pick up the phone and said Haaaa. I think she is getting it- she also held the phone to her ear! We will try out hello when we talk to you! We love you daddy! Hope you and grandma are having a fun day!
Brook kept wiping her cinnamon hands on her shorts...

Yes- I let Aleksa have a cookie too and she loved it!!!

Daddy's Girl

Aleksa is daddy's girl through and through, if there was ever any doubt the following pictures will clear it up. We would also like to wish our dads and grandpas a very happy Father's Day as well- we love you all and can't wait to see you. We went to a baseball game on Saturday and Aleksa took her mitt to the game- it was so cute! She loved when music would play- but then she always loves music! We had some crazy weather tonight and have posted a video of that too. Enjoy!

Aleksa also had her first raspberry today- not a fan- at least not yet...

WRESTLE!!!!

Cam and Aleksandra love to wrestle! This is just the tail end of their last bout. Aleksandra has Cam in the popular hair vice. Cam attempts to use the Belly Blow but was countered with the drool pile driver. (You can see some remanants left) Cam tapped out a couple minutes later and sustained only minor injuries. (Two giant scratches under his right eye). Not too many people though can go 12 rounds with the PEACHINATOR. CRAZY KIDS.

Baby Steps...

Well she did it, she finally did it!!! After three hours of What About Bob she has finally taken baby steps... She moved from taking one step to five or six. We missed the first time she took six because it was so unexpected. There was a CD that she really wanted and I kept holding it away from her hoping she would take a step to it. All of a sudden she just started walking toward the CD- luckily Cam and I were both watching. Once the CD lost its allure we used a Fresca. She didn't actually get any but we let her suck on the bottom of the can- which to her is just as good. I guess she just needed something that she really wanted. We were so worried that she would start taking more steps after Cam left for Russia but she decided to speed things up! She has also started to clap in the last two days- so when we would clap for her she would clap too!

Aleksa and the balloon...

Aleksa went to Sophie's birthday party last night and came home with a purple balloon that she loved. We took some pictures as we were walking to the car. Aleksa wasn't really in the mood to look at the camera- it was getting pretty close to bed time but we still got some good shots.

So much to do, so little time...

I think that is how Aleksa feels these days. She is constantly moving and getting into everything. Here are some pictures and video clips of Aleksa after the wedding and since we have been home.

Aleksa went to the park with Ethan and Ali while we were in Utah at my parents' house. Everyone had a great time on our walk as well- Aleksa esp. loved the wagon ride- Cam put his phone in the wagon with Aleksa while it was playing her favorite song- you can see her dancing to John Mayer.

Aleksa went swimming at Grandma and Grandpa Walkers- she LOVED it. We have been going swimming tons in Arkansas since we have been home. Now when we walk into the pool area Aleksa starts to yell and wave her arms because she is so excited.

It is so hot here in Arkansas that we have been having popsicles in the afternoon and then going swimming. Aleksa loves to eat her popsicles but they make a huge mess.

We went to Eureka Springs with my mom and dad this past week- I had a really fun time taking pictures- here a just a few- Tori was gracious enough o let me take some of her. I loved the Victorian houses I couldn't take enough pictures of the houses. We had such a great time with my parents here- can't wait to see them again in about three weeks- we call it the summer of vacation because this will be the most we have seen our families since we moved away from Utah pretty much.
