I'm Back.......

I know I know... its been a really long time since I have posted anything. Over a month I think. Well things have been crazy but I finally have some pictures to sum up the last month.
Aleksa has really become my little best friend. The morning we took this hilarious picture we just sat and sang songs and played. This face is Aleksa's smile- I finally caught it on camera- too cute!
We went to Aunt BB's graduation. Aleksa always calls Brook "BB" even though she can say Brook. Congrats Brookie on your graduation- you are growing up so fast!

We visited family. Here we are with my grandpa and grandma Daun.

We got a puppy who we may actually keep ( I have really bad allergies to her but I am trying a few things to see if they work). Her name is Lucy and Cameron and Aleksa are totally in love with her- I am in like with her. She is a miniature King Charles Cavalier Spaniel. And despite making me feel like my head will explode is probably the best behaved puppy that you could ask for especially since Cam is potty training her and taking all the night shifts- hey I took the night shifts with the baby and will potty train her so whats fair is fair- right?

And oh yeah, still working on expanding my business her is a preview of my items for posh princess, modelled by my princess.

Feature!

I logged on the etsy the other day only to receive a convo that said I had been featured! Lulu's Tiles has been featured on FoundHandmade! Go to http://www.foundhandmade.com/news/itemize to see the baseball tiles.

New Tiles

Here are some of the new tiles that I have been working on lately.

These are my baseball necklaces that I have been selling on the weekends at baseball tournaments. I love how the little charm looks with the tile. Here is Ashley's precious little Ali. I have been doing some photo tiles lately and they have been turning out pretty cute. Thanks for sending me the photo Ash.

I've gone digital...

After years of saying "it's not for me", I decided to give digital scrap booking a try. I sat down this afternoon and turned four pages out during nap time. And I LOVE it. I can do pages faster, I have done more pages of Aleksa during nap time today than I have done her whole life. It's cheaper- so far.... Don't get me wrong there is still something to be said for creating pages by hand but for the next little while I am going digital. I can't wait to do more pages tonight!

Happy Mother's Day!

This week's Mormon Message was devoted to mothers, enjoy!

Elder Ballard, of the Twelve Apostles for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, had this to say about Mothers....

After observing and empathizing with three generations of mothers and thinking of my own dear mother, I surely know that there is no role in life more essential and more eternal than that of motherhood.
What matters is that a mother loves her children deeply and, in keeping with the devotion she has for God and her husband, prioritizes them above all else.

Salary.com has figured out what the salary equivalent would be for a stay-at-home Mom this past year.... it is $122,732. I personally think that moms are under paid according to these figures. I know that my mom is worth way more than that. I just wanted to take a minute to thank all of the Mother's in our lives for the wonderful examples they are to our family- thank you so much! We love you!

And thank you to Cameron and Aleksandra for the beautiful gifts and card. I love you!
