We're Back....

It's been awhile I know but here are some graduation pictures. It was such a great day- Aleksa was so proud of Cam she kept standing up and saying I'm clapping for my dad- while she wasn't in the hall with Mimi or Papa. Thanks to everyone that came for graduation- it sure meant a lot to us.

I am a dork- oh well...

The Walker Kids- This is my favorite picture from graduation. The Bogarts made law school a lot more enjoyable that's for sure.

What do you do in the Summer Time?

Well, it's been awhile since I have last posted Cam took his last final, I finished all my orders from the show, posted on the craft blog, Aleksa learned to be sassy(not good), Cam got released from the bishopric, Cam and Aleksa went to the baseball game,

Cam played in the Stake basketball tournament and didn't break anything,

Aleksa and I sat through Stake basketball with the help of our good friends,
and my cute sister in law Liny took me to get a pedicure for my birthday!

We have been hard at work on some cute Mother's Day presents, if you will not be receiving a present from us because you are not one of our moms- check out the craft blog. Aleksa and Sophie had a FABULOUS time playing while Joy and I crafted- and I think Joy and I had even more fun- shhh don't tell the kids.

I just printed off my to do list for the day...bummer...its long....I emailed it to myself at midnight last night as I laid there and thought of everything I had not done yet... I'll see you tomorrow.

Wednesday Nights....

Wednesday nights are crazy are at our house, Cam teaches private baseball lessons and I have young women's- or as Aleksa calls it "the women". Aleksa LOVES to go to "womens" with mom, she gets attention and treats. This past Wednesday night I took the lone miamaid to do a "photo shoot". Which meant Aleksa got thrown in the hiking backpack that we have never actually taken hiking and off we went. She was awesome, heavy, but great! At the end I took her out and she asked if I was going to take pictures of her too, so I snapped a couple quickly.

How do you?

Explain to your 2-year old what it means to move? We keep talking about our move to Utah and all the fun things we're going to do there... but in the back of mind I wonder how do I tell Aleksa that we won't see her best friend in the whole world for a while? I know it's silly but these two have been best little buddies all through law school.

18 Days til Graduation

Well it's finally come, all that stands between Cam and a law degree is one test and one paper. I can't believe it's come so fast and so slow. When we moved to Arkansas I was still pregnant with Aleksandra and now she's a crazy 2.5 year old. So many changes have occurred that I feel like we are almost different people now than those two kids that arrived in Fayetteville.
With graduation comes change, we are moving. As sad as we are to leave our home, we are so excited about what the future holds. Cam got a job in the UVU athletic department. After working at three law firms during law school we decided that the law firm thing wasn't for us-we want to have a life and enjoy that life. So after much prayer and thought and second thoughts Cam decided combing his loves athletics and law. Turns out athletic departments LOVE people with law degrees- so it works out perfect for us. Cam will be working under the Associate Athletic Director doing NCAA Compliance(the legal side of college athletics). He's so excited which makes me so excited!
So Utah.... ready or not 3 crazy Razorbacks are coming your way!

Easter Egg Hunt

Today we had an Easter egg hunt with some of our church friends, everyone brought eggs to contribute. Despite Aleksa tripping as soon as the hunt started and falling on her face and cutting her knee- it was Fabulous. Aleksa had a great time finding eggs, swapping candy and hanging out with all the kids she LOVES from church.

After the hunt all the kids sat down to go through their loot- and Aleksa went looking for eggs that got left behind- is she my daughter or what?

Look out people I'm a toddler on a mission- and that mission is candy.
