Today the Jones Center offered free ice skating lessons to the public. Aleksa and Cam went to see if we have the next Michelle Kwan on our hands (so what if she never won a gold?). I had to work so they were all on their own but it all worked out just fine.
She was most proud of her "issse skading paper" that she "won" at the end of the lesson. She loved it so much that when they opened the rink after the lessons for a free skate, she refused to leave her paper- I guess she thought it was just to valuable to have laying around tempting everyone else.
Aleksa did pretty well as long as Cam was nearby. She loved that they played Ring Around Rosie on the ice until she had to stand back up.
Her little teacher was so cute to her and she was the only one besides Daddy that Aleksa would even consider going to.
